Additional Leaderboard and Card Scoring

Upshot allows users to Earn Rank Points by holding winning cards, collecting & holding onto card sets (Entire set of cards in an event).

Each winning card’s rank points are weighted by the cards winning odds (100

Each winning card’s rank points are weighted by the cards winning odds:

100 ÷ card_odd_percent, rounded down

Example:

A card with 50% odds → 2 Points (100 ÷ 50)

A card with 10% odds → 10 points (100 ÷ 10)

Holding an entire set of cards in an event will grant points equal to the number of cards in the event divided by 2 (rounded down):

• Set of 2 cards → 1 points (2 ÷ 2)

• Set of 5 cards → 2 points (5 ÷ 2 = 2.5, round down to 2)

• Set of 10 cards → 5 points (10 ÷ 2)

(Set bonuses will only give up to a maximum of 100 points per set)

Rarity Boost

Holding cards of higher levels rarities boosts the amount of rank points you earn for holding winning cards are completing sets.

Boost Levels:

• Common: No boost

• Uncommon: 2x boost

• Rare: 3x boost

• Legendary: 4x boost

Winning card examples example:

• Uncommon winning card with 50% odds → 4 points (100 ÷ 50 x 2)

• Legendary winning card with 50% odds → 8 points (100 ÷ 50 x 4)

Set examples (boost is based on the highest rarity card in the set):

• Set of 2 cards with at least 1 uncommon card → 2 points (2 ÷ 2 x 2)

• Set of 5 cards with at least 1 legendary card → 10 points (5 ÷ 2 x 4)

Other Boosts/ Additional Rewards

Users can also gain additional rank points from participating in Social Media Activities & Community Activities (Currently within discord).

Tier System

This current edition of the leaderboard features a tier system allowing everyone to progress if they collect cards.

1. Lower & Mid Tiers (Fledgling Oracles, Rising Predictors, Ascendant Visionaries)

• Players earn rank points by holding winning cards (weighted by odds) and completing sets of cards to climb these first 15 ranks.

• Everyone can progress if they collect cards.

2. Upper Tiers (Masters of Foresight, Elite Seers, and Legendary Prophets)

• Once players reach Rank 16, their leaderboard positions determines their rank.

• Players leaderboard positions are determined by their number of rank points compared with other players.

Notes On This System

1. Everyone can progress through the first 15 ranks.

2. The top tiers will be competitive, since they depend on outperforming others.

3. Marketplace & Trading: Encourages players to seek rare, low-odds winning cards to climb ranks. Also encourages collecting some losing cards to complete sets of cards.
